Nano Banana Pro is the AI image generation model behind almost every still on Flovaly. It creates character portraits, scene images, and — via its multi-image edit mode — the composed start frames that Flovaly's video models animate. Image generations start at 2 credits, and it is the default for both character and scene images.

What is Nano Banana Pro?

Nano Banana Pro is an image generation model served through fal.ai, registered on Flovaly as our best-quality image option and set as the default for character and scene generation. Give it a written description and it renders a still; give its edit mode a prompt plus reference images and it composes them into a single new frame.

That second ability matters more than it sounds. Video models are only as good as the frame they start from, and on Flovaly, Nano Banana Pro is usually the model that made that frame — which makes it less a side feature and more the foundation of the whole pipeline.

What it's best at

Nano Banana Pro does four distinct jobs on Flovaly:

• Character stills — when you create an actor, Flovaly generates three portrait options from your description in parallel and lets you pick your favourite before the character is saved.
• Scene images for face swap— generate a scene from a prompt, and the face-swap step places your character's face into it, so one actor can appear anywhere.
• UGC start frames — in the UGC ad pipeline, its edit mode takes your character image and your actual product photo and composes one frame of the character holding that exact product, unaltered, which then drives image-to-video.

Pricing in credits

A standard Nano Banana Pro image generation costs 2 credits on Flovaly. The character-creation pre-pick is priced separately at 1 credit per portrait option — 3 credits for the set of three — and any option that fails to generate is refunded automatically, so you never pay for an image you did not see.
