Kling 2.5 Turbo: Flovaly's Image-to-Video Workhorse

Kling 2.5 Turbo is a workhorse image-to-video model on Flovaly — the default engine in the Workflows builder's video step, and one of several image-to-video options in the Studio composer alongside Seedance 2.0 Pro, the Studio's current default. It runs Kuaishou's Kling 2.5 Turbo Pro tier through fal's accelerated infrastructure, costs 35 credits per generation, and earns its keep on one strength above all: it animates your image faithfully.

What is Kling 2.5 Turbo?

Kling is Kuaishou's family of video generation models, widely known for convincing, physical motion. The 2.5 Turbo Pro tier is the throughput-focused member of that family, and Flovaly routes it through fal rather than the direct Kling API — same model family, dramatically faster turnaround in our production experience. That speed difference is a large part of why it earned a lasting slot in the video picker: it replaced a direct route that was simply too slow to iterate on.

Give it a start image and a prompt describing the motion, and it renders a clip that begins from — and stays true to — that exact frame. Your character's face, your product's label, your framing all survive into the video.

What it's best at

• Animating character stills — bringing a generated actor portrait to life while keeping the face recognisably the same person. In our testing, character consistency is where this model stands out.
• UGC ad pipelines — behind the scenes, Flovaly composes a start frame of your character holding your actual product, and Kling 2.5 Turbo is the engine that animates it.
• Product shots — turning a clean product photo into movement without the model redesigning the product.
• Fast iteration — quick enough that re-running with a tweaked motion prompt feels cheap in time, not just credits.

It also supports plain text-to-video, but that is not its main job here — for prompt-only generation, Seedance 2.0 Pro and the other models covered below are the usual starting points.

How to use Kling 2.5 Turbo on Flovaly

1. Open the Studio and click the Video tab in the composer mode row.
2. Attach your start image below the prompt area — a character still, a product photo, or any frame you want animated. The composer switches to image-to-video and the model picker narrows to models that support it.
3. Write the prompt as motion, not description: the image already says what things look like, so describe what happens— “she lifts the bottle towards camera and smiles” beats re-describing the scene.
4. Set duration and resolution via the settings gear, check the live credit count next to the Run button, and run.

It is also the default model in the video step of Flovaly's Workflows builder, so multi-step pipelines pick it up automatically unless you choose otherwise. Alternatives on Flovaly

• Seedance 2.0 Pro (30 credits) — the UGC-realistic default for text-to-video, and it accepts a start image too. Pick it when candid, person-filmed texture matters more than strict fidelity to the frame.
• Kling 3.0 (25 credits) — the newer, cheaper Kling tier. Punchy motion, great for drafts; 2.5 Turbo remains the workhorse for character-faithful animation.
• Veo 3.1 Fast(45 credits) — Google's model, image-to-video with generated audio and cinematic camera moves.
• Sora 2 Pro (60 credits) — cinematic and premium, but text-to-video only: it cannot animate your still at all.

When to choose Kling 2.5 Turbo

Choose Kling 2.5 Turbo whenever the clip must start from an image you already have and stay loyal to it — character-led UGC ads, product animations, and any workflow where the face in frame is the asset. The speed and cost balance is the point: fast enough to iterate, cheap enough to run often, consistent enough to ship.

Reach for Seedance 2.0 Pro when the brief is prompt-first UGC realism, and Kling 3.0 when you are drafting in volume. But when it is your character on screen, this is the model doing the work.
