What is Sora 2 Pro?

Sora is OpenAI's family of video generation models, and Sora 2 Pro is the tier Flovaly runs. Publicly, the Sora line is known for coherent, cinematic output — believable physics, considered composition, and a look closer to produced film than phone footage. On Flovaly it sits at the top of the video price ladder: cinematic, slower to render, premium cost.

One honest limitation to know upfront: on Flovaly, Sora 2 Pro is registered for text-to-video only. There is no start-image input, so it cannot animate an existing still — a product photo, a generated character portrait — the way Kling 2.5 Turbo or Seedance 2.0 Pro can. On Flovaly, Sora 2 Pro earns its 60 credits on briefs like:

• Polished brand spots — hero shots where the ad is meant to look produced, not candid.
• Cinematic B-roll — establishing shots, product beauty footage, stylised sequences to cut around your UGC clips.
• Concept and mood pieces — worlds, weather, and camera language that UGC-tuned models are not built for.

It is the wrong tool for feed-native UGC creative — the deliberate polish works against the candid look — and, because it takes no start image, for any workflow built around animating your character's stills.

How to use Sora 2 Pro on Flovaly

1. Open the Studio and click the Video tab in the composer mode row.
2. Click the model pill in the composer footer and pick Sora 2 Pro from the list.
3. Write the shot as a prompt. Because there is no reference image, the prompt carries everything: subject, action, setting, camera movement, and light all need to be on the page.
4. Open the settings gear to set duration and resolution, check the live credit count next to the Run button, and run.

A note on the picker: once you attach a reference image below the prompt area, the composer switches to image-to-video and the model list narrows to models that support it — Sora 2 Pro drops out. That is by design, not a bug. If you want a still animated, that job belongs to an image-to-video model.
