Flovaly and Quso.ai (rebranded from Vidyo.ai in 2024) solve different problems. Quso takes a long-form video you've already recorded — a podcast, webinar, or vlog — and cuts it into a week's worth of captioned short clips, then schedules them across seven platforms, from $29/month. Flovaly needs no existing footage at all: you write a script, pick a Talking Actor or a guided UGC ad with your product photo, and Flovaly generates one new clip from scratch at a fixed credit price, from a $1 trial. Quso used to run a script-to-avatar feature that overlapped with what Flovaly does, but per Quso's own help centre, that feature is being discontinued — here's the honest breakdown of what each tool actually does today.

What Quso does well

Quso's job is repurposing, not generation. Feed it a long-form video and it finds the highest-performing moments, scores them by predicted virality, and turns them into short clips with word-level animated captions in 50+ languages and automatic filler-word removal. It resizes and exports to 16:9, 9:16, and 1:1 in one pass, and from the Essential tier up it schedules and publishes directly to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and Pinterest — seven platforms, without you touching a scheduler. The Growth tier adds a “Viddy AI content assistant” for ongoing content planning. If you already have hours of recorded footage and want a week of clips out the other end with minimal manual editing, that's a real job Flovaly doesn't do at all — Flovaly has no footage-ingestion, auto-clipping, or virality-scoring feature anywhere in the product.

What Flovaly does differently

Flovaly starts from nothing. There's no existing video to feed in — you write the script (or use your own product photo) and Flovaly generates a brand-new clip: a Talking Actor delivering your script with lip-synced voiceover, a guided UGC ad compositing your product photo with an actor, a Face Swap onto footage you already have, or a Viral Centre effect preset. Every format shows its credit price before you generate — Talking Actors run 7 credits for a 5-second clip at 720p (5 base + 2 for the voiceover), 11 at 1080p; Face Swap video is a flat 8 credits at 5 seconds; guided UGC ads start at 5 credits base plus duration; and Re-voice re-syncs a new script onto existing footage for a flat 25 credits.

The clearest, most current gap is the avatar path itself. Quso briefly ran a feature called AI Influencer — 80+ stock avatars narrating a typed script into a talking-head video, no cloning involved — which would have made it a genuine UGC-avatar competitor. But Quso's own help centre states plainly that “the AI Influencer feature is being discontinued and will no longer be available,” so as the product stands (and as Quso itself describes where it's headed), there's no live script-to-avatar path on Quso at all today. Flovaly's equivalent — Talking Actors — isn't going anywhere, and it's backed by a real custom-avatar option: build a character from your own reference photo, no stock-avatar-only limitation.

One place Flovaly has an edge Quso doesn't: a working “Paste URL” product scraper in the guided UGC flow that pulls a title, description, price, and photo straight from a product page to fill the photo slot — it doesn't write your script, but it saves the manual upload step. Quso's homepage makes no mention of product-URL import at all. Neither tool offers voice or face cloning of any kind — Flovaly's “Clone” option during character creation only uploads a video and shows a “coming soon” message, and nothing on Quso's site, past or present, describes a cloning feature either.

Pricing side-by-side

PlanPriceWhat you get
Flovaly Trial$110 credits/month, 10 stock avatars
Flovaly Starter$29/mo150 credits/month, custom avatar, 4K
Flovaly Pro$99/mo500 credits/month, unlimited avatars, API
Quso Free$0/mo75 credits/month, 720p, TikTok publishing
Quso Lite$29/mo ($19/mo yearly)100 credits/month (200 yearly), unlimited 1080p clips, multi-format export

Quso Growth$49/mo ($33/mo yearly)600 credits/month (1,200 yearly), custom branding, Viddy AI content assistant

Quso prices a monthly credit allowance spent on repurposing and scheduling an existing video, not a per-generated-clip rate — there's nothing to generate from scratch, so there's no avatar-video cost to compare against Flovaly's per-clip pricing directly. Flovaly's current plans and credit bundles are always live on the pricing page.

Which should you pick?

  • You already have long-form video and want it cut into clips, captioned, and scheduled — Quso. That's exactly the job it's built for, and Flovaly has no equivalent footage-ingestion or auto-clipping feature at all.
  • You want auto-publishing to multiple platforms — Quso. Its Essential tier schedules to seven platforms. Flovaly has no publishing integration anywhere — every clip is downloaded and posted by you.
  • You have no footage yet and need an ad generated from a script or product photo — Flovaly. That's the one job Quso can't do at all right now, since its own avatar-generation feature is being discontinued.
  • You want a custom avatar built from your own reference photo — Flovaly. Quso's avatar feature, while it lasted, was stock-only with no custom-avatar option, and it's on its way out entirely.

These aren't really substitutes for most workflows: Quso turns footage you already have into more content, Flovaly generates footage you don't have yet. If your bottleneck is a backlog of unedited long-form video, Quso's repurposing pipeline solves that directly. If your bottleneck is not having any footage to work with in the first place, Flovaly's script-to-clip studio is the one built for that. The pricing page shows every Flovaly plan, and the $1 trial is enough to generate a handful of clips and judge the output yourself.

FAQ

What is Quso.ai?

Quso.ai (rebranded from Vidyo.ai in 2024, same product and team) is a long-form-to-clips repurposing platform: feed it a podcast, webinar, or vlog and it finds the highest-performing moments, captions them, resizes them for TikTok/Reels/Shorts, and schedules them across seven platforms.

Does Quso.ai still have an AI avatar or UGC ad feature?

Not for much longer. Quso briefly ran a script-to-avatar feature called AI Influencer (80+ stock avatars, no cloning), but its own help centre states plainly that "the AI Influencer feature is being discontinued and will no longer be available" — so it is not a live UGC-generation competitor today.

How much does Quso.ai cost?

Per its live pricing page: Free is $0/month for 75 credits at 720p. Lite is $29/month ($19/month billed yearly) for 100–200 credits and unlimited 1080p clips. Essential is $39/month ($26/month yearly) for 300–600 credits plus scheduling to 7 platforms. Growth is $49/month ($33/month yearly) for 600–1,200 credits plus custom branding and its Viddy AI content assistant.

Does Flovaly schedule or auto-publish content like Quso.ai?

No. Flovaly has no scheduling or social-publishing integration anywhere in the product — every clip is generated, downloaded, and posted by you. Quso's Essential tier and up auto-schedules to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and Pinterest.

Which tool should I use if I have no existing footage?

Flovaly. Quso only repurposes video you've already recorded — it has no footage-generation feature, and its one avatar-based generation feature is being retired. Flovaly's Talking Actors, guided UGC ads, and Face Swap all generate a new clip from a script or a product photo, with no source footage required.
